Our East Coast healthcare client is in immediate need of a Director of Workday Supply Chain Systems and Analytics. The ideal candidate has healthcare industry experience overseeing a team of system analyst within the Workday Supply Chain application. This is a remote, contract to hire position.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the healthcare system’s Supply Chain Systems and Analytics team, managing current operations while preparing for a successful transition to Workday Supply Chain Management (SCM).
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the existing Supply Chain Analytics environment, including a robust data lake and operational dashboards in Power BI, ensuring continuity of insights and reporting until Workday SCM is live and stable.
  • Collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, and Workday implementation teams to align current analytics operations with future Workday SCM capabilities, acting as a key resource for supply chain system implementation.
  • Provide expertise in Workday Supply Chain Management, guiding the implementation process, and ensuring alignment with the healthcare system’s operational and analytics goals.
  • Drive the design and implementation of scalable analytics solutions that support decision-making across supply chain operations during and after the transition to Workday.
  • Lead a team of data analysts and supply chain specialists, fostering professional development and ensuring successful knowledge transfer during the system transition.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain data integrity, operational efficiency, and reporting accuracy during the transition period.
  • Serve as a key advisor for supply chain systems and analytics, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance, reduce costs, and streamline operations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Extensive experience in Supply Chain Systems and Analytics, with demonstrated knowledge of Workday SCM and data analytics platforms such as Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data lakes, analytics workflows, and dashboard creation for supply chain operations.

Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare supply chain management, with familiarity with its unique challenges and requirements.
  • Knowledge of data migration, system integration, and post-implementation stabilization within ERP environments.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive collaboration across departments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on operational excellence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
