We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to join our team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of Workday ERP and HCM consulting and advisory projects for our clients. This is a solution and delivery-oriented position with a primary focus on driving project success, ensuring client satisfaction, and achieving contribution margin targets. The Senior Manager will report directly to the Executive Director of ERP, WFM, & HCM and will be expected to maintain a billable utilization rate of approximately 75%, with the remaining time dedicated to people management and solution sales.
Primary Duties
- Project Management: Lead and manage the successful delivery of Workday ERP and HCM projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, build and maintain strong relationships, and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources, including consultants and technical experts, to project teams based on project requirements and skillsets, ensuring optimal utilization and project success.
- People Management: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development initiatives.
- Solution Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities, participate in solution presentations and demonstrations, and contribute to the development of proposals and statements of work.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to project delivery and proactively implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact and ensure project success.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the practice, identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains, and contribute to the development of best practices and methodologies.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the ERP, WFM, or HCM domain.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Experience with solution sales and business development activities.
- Ability to travel as needed to client sites. 25-50%.
