Position Overview

The Workday Project Manager - Financials will lead and manage Workday Financials implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of Workday Financials modules and project management methodologies. The Project Manager will collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, develop project plans, and manage project execution. 

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Workday Financials implementation projects, including planning, execution, and closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage project risks and issues, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and developers.
• Ensure adherence to project methodologies and quality standards.
• Manage project resources and allocate tasks effectively.
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct project post-implementation reviews and identify areas for improvement.
• Utilize Workday deployment methodology and best practices.

Qualifications

Required 

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Workday Pro Record to Report Services Certification.
• Workday Project Manager Certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Workday Financials implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and Workday Financial Management functionality.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• PMP or other relevant project management certifications.
• Experience with multiple Workday Financials implementations.
• Experience within the Healthcare industry.
