Position Overview:
The Workday Financial Reporting Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying financial reports within the Workday environment. This role requires a strong understanding of Workday Financials, reporting tools, and financial analysis. The Consultant will work closely with clients to understand their reporting needs and deliver effective reporting solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain financial reports using Workday reporting tools, including Calculated Fields and Report Writer.
- Gather and analyze client reporting requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical reporting specifications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and developers to ensure accurate and efficient reporting solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday reporting functionalities and best practices.
- Participate in all phases of the reporting lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment.
- Ensure reports meet performance and security requirements.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to support financial analysis.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Workday Pro Financial Reporting Services Certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience developing financial reports in Workday.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting principles and practices.
- Experience with Workday reporting tools and functionalities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Workday Pro Record to Report Services
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics.
- Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Experience within the Healthcare industry.
