Job Summary:

Consultant Advisor, ERP Michael Cooper is recruiting this position.
Our client is looking for a certified Workday Extend Developer to join their team in developing innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional applications while ensuring security, compliance, and optimal performance. This is a remote, contract opportunity
Responsibilities
- Build Workday Extend applications using XSLT, Workday object services, custom objects, and user interface frameworks
- Translate business and technical requirements into functional applications that extend native Workday functionality
- Develop secure, compliant solutions tailored to customer needs
- Partner with Workday Extend Designers to understand application architecture and user experience requirements
- Write unit tests and conduct QA testing to ensure application stability
- Maintain documentation and support change management for deployed Extend applications
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues in Extend apps post-deployment
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate for this role possesses a Workday Extend certification, a strong understanding of Workday HCM or FIN data and APIs, and hands-on experience developing and implementing Workday Extend solutions
- Must be a self-motivated and detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Workday Extend
- This role requires certification in Workday Pro Extend Services. Candidates without certification may be considered if they can obtain the credential within three weeks of hire.
- 3+ years of HCM/ERP software application experience with EDI, Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, Java, or other integration and programming technologies
- Experience and understanding of Human Resources and/or Financials data
- Business, Process, and Data Analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good negotiation and facilitation skills
- Ability to work proactively and independently within a project framework
- Willingness to advance technically and earn additional Workday certifications
