Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in the staffing industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the full spectrum of human resources functions, including onboarding coordination, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management. This role requires a proactive, adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and coordinate onboarding for internal staff.
  • Facilitate employee relations efforts, helping to resolve issues and foster a positive work environment.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and support open enrollment processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support performance management processes, including evaluations and improvement plans.
  • Participate in HR projects, audits, and initiatives to improve employee engagement and operational efficiency.

 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in the staffing or recruitment industry.
  • Knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
