We are looking to add a Certified Workday HCM Data Conversion Consultant to our growing Workday Practice team. This is a full-time, salaried consulting role focused on supporting net-new Workday implementations for our healthcare clients.

In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to manage and execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities—ensuring the successful migration of HCM data into Workday. You’ll play a key role in implementations by providing expertise on data conversion strategies, tools, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute data conversion activities for HCM modules including Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, and Talent.
• Analyze legacy HR system data, perform extraction and cleansing, and build mapping documents.
• Use Workday EIBs, Studio, Cloud Connect, or other tools to build and run conversion routines.
• Conduct unit testing, mock loads, and user acceptance testing to validate data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot conversion issues and ensure high data integrity and quality throughout the process.
• Support cutover planning and post-go-live data validation.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for conversion processes and data mappings.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Workday Partner Certification.
• 3+ years of experience with Workday HCM, with at least one full-cycle implementation involving data conversion.
• Strong understanding of HCM data structures and business processes.
• Hands-on experience with Workday EIBs, Studio, and data transformation tools.
• Familiarity with legacy HR systems (PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, ADP, etc.).
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.) and comfortable working with large data sets.
• Experience with XML/XSLT or other data formats is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams.
