Workday Technology Lead - Director Level

100% Remote

12+ Month Contract*

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Workday Technology Lead to spearhead complex implementation programs as our technical authority. This senior-level position will drive technical strategy, oversee architecture decisions, and lead cross-functional teams across the Workday platform.

Description

  • Lead end-to-end technical strategy for enterprise Workday implementations
  • Direct and mentor technical teams across integrations, security, reporting, and data conversion
  • Collaborate with C-level stakeholders and program leadership
  • Provide expert guidance on Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and Extend applications
  • Develop technical standards and best practices
  • Oversee quality assurance for all technical deliverables

Required Qualifications

  • Current Workday Integration Certification
  • 8+ years of enterprise Workday experience
  • 3+ years in technical leadership/architect role
  • Deep expertise in Workday's integration framework, Extend platform, and security model
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOX, GDPR)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Extend Certification
  • Workday Studio Certification
  • Solution Architect/Technical Delivery Director experience
  • DevOps and CI/CD expertise
  • Enterprise middleware platform knowledge

**Technical Environment:**

  • Workday HCM, Payroll, Finance, and SCM
  • Integration platforms
  • Security frameworks
  • Data conversion tools
  • Reporting systems
