Our healthcare client on the West Coast is looking for a Financial Systems Architect / Lead to step in and support the Accounting team while the current resource moves over to support a large-scale Workday implementation project. This is a long-term backfill opportunity focused on maintaining and optimizing the organization’s existing Infor/Lawson financial systems during the transition. This is a contract position that would continue for the next 18 + months.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can navigate accounting processes, collaborate with Finance and IT, and keep things running smoothly in a dynamic, system-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for Infor/Lawson Financials (GL, AP, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to keep financial operations running efficiently.
• Partner with Finance leadership and IT to maintain system integrity and streamline workflows.
• Support financial reporting, data validation, and month-end close processes
• Document configurations, processes, and key learnings during the Workday transition.
• Collaborate with the Workday implementation team as needed to ensure continuity.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Infor (Lawson) Financials or similar ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial operations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to work across Accounting and IT.
• Workday experience is a plus, but not required.
• Healthcare industry experience nice to have.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
