Our healthcare client on the West Coast is looking for a Financial Systems Functional Lead to backfill key responsibilities on the Projects & Assets workstream while the current team members transition to the Workday implementation. This is an 18 + month contract role supporting financial systems stability and project-related accounting operations during a major ERP transformation from Infor to Workday.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with Infor Financials (or similar ERP systems), understands project accounting and fixed assets processes, and can collaborate closely with Finance and IT teams to keep operations seamless during this period of change.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on functional support for Projects and Assets within Infor Financials (and assist with Workday-related transition activities).
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and data issues across project accounting and asset management workflows.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to ensure system accuracy, data integrity, and compliance.
• Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, and reporting related to capital projects and fixed assets.
• Maintain documentation and system configuration details throughout the ERP transition.
• Collaborate with Workday implementation teams to ensure continuity of financial processes and data.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience supporting ERP Financial Systems (Infor, Lawson, Workday, or similar).
• Strong functional knowledge of Project Accounting and Fixed Assets processes.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Workday Financials experience is a plus (not required).
• Healthcare industry experience preferred, but not mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
