Our client, a leading healthcare organization located in Dallas TX, is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join their team. This role involves managing network security, implementing solutions for both wired and wireless networks, and providing technical expertise for design integration. The position requires on-call rotation and offers a hybrid work arrangement (initial 60 days onsite, then 2 days remote/3 days onsite). This is a 6-month contract role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of enterprise network support experience
• CCNA certification required, CCNP preferred
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)
• Experience with network virtualization and automation (ACI, NFV, SDN)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PERL) and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet)
• Strong background in firewall administration and VPN technologies
• Expertise in wireless 802.1x, VoIP, and HSNAC
• Experience with WAN technologies, including DWDM and optical transport systems
• Familiarity with network management platforms (AKIPs, SolarWinds, NetDisco)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Healthcare IT experience preferred
