Our healthcare client is seeking an experienced AVP, ERP Business Applications to lead enterprise resource planning and business application initiatives for their organization, with a primary focus on Workday implementation and management of non-clinical application systems. This is a contract position with potential for long-term permanent placement, offering a fully remote work arrangement except required onsite presence during critical go-live events.

The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership experience managing enterprise business applications in healthcare environments, particularly with Workday Supply Chain Management (SCM) implementations. This role oversees all non-clinical applications, including workforce management and staffing optimization platforms, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on technical expertise to drive successful implementations and ongoing system optimization.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience at AVP level or equivalent managing ERP and business application portfolios
• Extensive hands-on experience implementing and managing Workday
• Strong background in healthcare business applications and non-clinical systems
• Experience with workforce management platforms such as UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) and Clairvia
• Academic Medical Center (AMC) or large healthcare system experience strongly preferred
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex implementations and system integrations
• Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage go-live events and critical implementations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
