Job Summary:
Consultant Advisor, ERP Michael Cooper is recruiting this position.
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer Consultant to support our healthcare clients Corporate Network team on a contract basis. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure across Acute, Corporate, Behavioral Health, and IPM facilities. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on expertise in Cisco ISE, routing, switching, firewalls, and enterprise network security, and is comfortable working in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
- Lead and support network projects involving Cisco ISE, authentication/authorization, and secure access controls.
- Configure and support Cisco firewalls, including NAT, VPNs, Secure Client, SD-WAN, and Meraki solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex TCP/IP network issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Support wireless infrastructure, including Cisco wireless controllers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver network solutions aligned with business and security requirements.
- Effectively manage workload, priorities, and project deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of related experience in enterprise networking or network engineering roles.
- Expert-level experience supporting LAN/WAN environments, including switches, routers, EIGRP, and BGP.
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco firewall technologies, including NAT, VPN, Cisco Secure Client, Cisco ISE, SD-WAN, and Meraki.
- Strong expertise in TCP/IP network troubleshooting.
- Advanced understanding of authentication and authorization protocols, including RADIUS and/or TACACS.
- Advanced experience with Cisco wireless controllers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to self-manage workload and meet project deadlines.
