Job Summary:
Consultant Advisor, ERP Kyle Johnson is recruiting this position.
Our Midwest Healthcare client is seeking an experienced ERP HCM Functional Analyst to join their team permanently to support and optimize Workday HCM during a major ERP transformation. This role will partner closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders as the organization transitions from Infor/Lawson to Workday. The Workday Financials go-live is planned for January 2027, followed by Supply Chain in April 2027, with an Epic go-live in January 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the HRIS functional partner supporting Workday HCM modules such as Core HR, Benefits, Talent, and Advanced Compensation
- Act as the first point of contact for HCM-related system issues; assess severity and prioritize resolution
- Partner with HR Business Partners to gather requirements, provide solutions, and perform impact analysis
- Configure, test, validate, and implement Workday HCM business process changes
- Perform system testing and collaborate with IT to resolve defects and issues
- Evaluate Workday releases and new functionality to drive system optimization and improvements
- Maintain HCM master data (e.g., Job Profiles, Job Families, Roles, Organizations, Positions, Locations)
- Support integrations, security, annual events, and go-live activities
- Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards, including matrix and composite reports
- Deliver meaningful metrics, trends, and insights through Workday reporting
- Share knowledge and provide input to the Workday Team Lead and functional team members
- Participate in training to strengthen policy, process, and system expertise
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Workday HCM experience (required)
- Workday HCM PRO Certification (required)
- Strong understanding of HR operations and employee data management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
