Overview: Our healthcare client on the West Coast is seeking an experienced Workday Financials Project Manager to support an 18 + month Workday Financials and Supply Chain Management implementation. This role will lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment across Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and external implementation partners. On-site presence will be required during key milestones, planning sessions, and target dates.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall project management for the Workday Financials and SCM implementation from initiation through go-live and stabilization
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and third-party integrators
• Facilitate governance, steering committee updates, and executive-level status reporting
• Manage scope, issues, risks, and change requests to ensure successful delivery
• Oversee cutover planning, testing phases, and go-live readiness activities
• Ensure adherence to Workday implementation best practices and healthcare regulatory considerations
• Drive accountability across workstreams and ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Support post go-live stabilization and optimization planning as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5 + years of project management experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations
• Hands-on experience leading Workday Financials implementations (SCM experience strongly preferred)
• Experience working within healthcare or health system environments
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream projects with executive stakeholders
• Strong understanding of Workday FIN modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Assets, Projects) and SCM processes
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work PST business hours and travel on-site in California for key milestones

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Workday FIN + SCM end-to-end implementation leadership experience
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Experience managing systems integrators and vendor partners
