Our Wisconsin client, a Community Connect partner of a larger, regional health system, just completed a MEDITECH to Epic conversion. They are seeking an Operational Epic Revenue Cycle SME to mentor the existing managers and to drive progress with key initiatives. The initial duration is 6 months, with one week per month onsite expected. No vendors please.

The ideal consultant will:

  • Educate managers and staff how to best operate within the Epic system; e.g. how to prioritize accounts, work WQs efficiently, etc
  • Track progress via 30-60-90 day stabilization goals 
  • Act as liaison with IT to prioritize high impact fixes
  • Oversee/assist Simple Visit Coding Implementation
  • Assess staffing needs

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience specifically advising Epic clients as an operational revenue cycle subject matter expert
  • Extensive experience error checking via charge review and the CDF
  • Prior consulting experience
