Job Summary:
Senior Consultant Advisor, EMR Christine Woods is recruiting this position.
Our Wisconsin client, a Community Connect partner of a larger, regional health system, just completed a MEDITECH to Epic conversion. They are seeking an Operational Epic Revenue Cycle SME to mentor the existing managers and to drive progress with key initiatives. The initial duration is 6 months, with one week per month onsite expected. No vendors please.
The ideal consultant will:
- Educate managers and staff how to best operate within the Epic system; e.g. how to prioritize accounts, work WQs efficiently, etc
- Track progress via 30-60-90 day stabilization goals
- Act as liaison with IT to prioritize high impact fixes
- Oversee/assist Simple Visit Coding Implementation
- Assess staffing needs
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience specifically advising Epic clients as an operational revenue cycle subject matter expert
- Extensive experience error checking via charge review and the CDF
- Prior consulting experience
