We’re seeking an experienced, Certified Workday Benefits Consultant to join our AMS team and support our portfolio of healthcare clients as they strive to get the most out of their Workday platform. This role will engage in ongoing support, maintenance, system configuration and optimization efforts across the Benefits space. This candidate has experience in Workday AMS support, ideally from the partner side. This role will operate independently, perform hands-on configuration, educate and guide clients on best practices, support new features and impact analysis during Workday release cycles. 

Background:

Hours: Up to 10 hours per week

Clients: Healthcare Systems

Project Details: New client program starting up in May that will require new benefit and leave eligibility. Cross functional project to implement during summer.

Requirements:

  • Workday Pro Benefits Services Certification
  • HCM Data Loading Services Certification OR Data Conversion Services Certification
    • Must sit in already or be transferred to Healthcare IT Leader's LMS

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to eligibility, plans, events and enrollments.
  • Optimize the system around new benefit plans and programs, participating in small projects where cross-functional coordination and testing will be required.
  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Perform configuration changes related to:
    • Benefit plans and coverage types
    • Eligibility rules
    • Benefit events and event rules
  • Support testing of any configuration related to updates/changes.
  • Analyze and resolve defects and data inconsistencies between modules in alignment with our SLA/SLO targets.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Workday platform.
  • Recommend and/or implement system or process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage and resolve break fix and optimization activities related to aligned modules in alignment with expectations.
  • Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and end user support as needed
  • Attend delivery status meetings as needed within the framework for the clients
  • Work and collaborate within a comprehensive AMS delivery support team inclusive of analysts and an Account Lead to support client work.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configuration changes, testing outcomes, and process workflows.
  • Stay current on Workday Benefits product functionality and best practices, providing insights and guidance to clients.
  • Manage configuration migrations through tenant environments in alignment with AMS governance and change control processes.
  • Manage client post-production work through AMS support framework, ensuring timely triage and resolution of questions, issues and enhancements.
