Senior Epic Beaker AP/CP Analyst – Contract

We are partnering with a Florida-based healthcare organization embarking on a brand-new Epic implementation and seeking a highly experienced Senior Epic Beaker AP/CP Analyst to join their project team. This is a long-term contract opportunity with a strong emphasis on hands-on build, workflow design, and collaboration with clinical stakeholders.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 18+ months
  • Travel Requirement: 1 week per month onsite in Florida

Position Overview:

The Senior Epic Beaker AP/CP Analyst will play a key role in the full lifecycle implementation of Epic Beaker, supporting both Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP) workflows. This individual will collaborate closely with lab leadership, clinicians, and IT teams to design, build, test, and optimize the Beaker module to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design, build, configuration, and optimization of Epic Beaker AP/CP modules
  • Translate laboratory workflows into Epic functionality and system design
  • Participate in system build, integrated testing, and go-live support activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Orders, Interfaces, and Revenue Cycle
  • Provide guidance on best practices for lab workflows and Epic Beaker utilization
  • Troubleshoot system issues and support post-go-live stabilization
  • Assist with documentation, training, and knowledge transfer

Required Qualifications:

  • Epic Beaker AP/CP Certification (required)
  • 5+ years of Epic Beaker experience, including full lifecycle implementations
  • Strong understanding of laboratory operations and workflows (AP and CP)
  • Experience with system build, validation, and testing phases
  • Ability to work independently and in a client-facing role
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
