Job Summary:

Our healthcare client is seeking a Senior HRIS Systems Analyst to serve as a strategic and technical lead across HR systems, with a strong emphasis on HCM reporting and analytics. This role will play a critical part in supporting a PeopleSoft environment while contributing to a transition to Workday, ensuring reporting continuity, data integrity, and scalable future-state solutions. This individual will act as a key liaison across HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and Talent Acquisition, driving system optimization, leading complex initiatives, and delivering actionable insights through reporting.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS & Reporting Leadership
- Serve as a subject matter expert in HRIS reporting, supporting enterprise-wide reporting needs across Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, and Talent
- Design, build, and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Establish and enforce reporting standards, data governance practices, and data quality controls
- Deliver actionable insights to stakeholders through data analysis and visualization
System Design & Optimization
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of complex HRIS solutions across platforms including PeopleSoft HCM, with exposure to Workday transformation efforts
- Evaluate system capabilities and recommend enhancements aligned with business objectives
- Design and maintain configurations, workflows, eligibility rules, and security frameworks
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across HR technology
- Transformation & Project Support
- Support the organization’s migration from PeopleSoft to Workday, including report redesign, data validation, and testing
- Lead and execute end-to-end testing strategies (unit, integration, UAT) for system changes and implementations
- Partner with IT on interfaces, integrations, and system architecture
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Cross-Functional Partnership
- Act as a liaison between HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and external vendors
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to optimize recruiting workflows and reporting
- Support Benefits administration within PeopleSoft as needed
- Manage vendor relationships for assigned HRIS platforms and tools
Leadership & Mentorship
- Serve as a functional lead and mentor to HRIS analysts
- Review deliverables for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards
- Influence stakeholders and guide decision-making related to HR technology and reporting
- Technical & Compliance Responsibilities
- Maintain and support PeopleSoft security (roles, permission lists, reporting trees, workflows)
- Develop required reports for state, federal, and healthcare regulatory agencies
- Partner with IT on business process re-engineering initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 5 + years of experience in HRIS, with a strong focus on HCM reporting and analytics
- Deep experience with PeopleSoft HCM, including reporting tools (PS Query, nVision, BI Publisher)
- Experience supporting or participating in a Workday implementation or transformation
- Strong understanding of HR data models and business processes (Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent)
- Proven experience in data validation, reconciliation, and testing methodologies
- Experience with HRIS security models and configurations
