Our healthcare client in the Bay Area is looking for a local, Senior Finance Lead, to join their team in 6 + month contract capacity. This hybrid position will require 2 days on-site per week.

Qualifications:

• Expert knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in a complex, multi-fund environment; strong understanding of internal controls, compliance requirements, and financial governance structures
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience working with enterprise financial systems (e.g., ERP platforms); experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations or finance transformation initiatives preferred
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize large, disparate datasets into clear financial insights and recommendations; fluency in applying AI tools to financial analysis, forecasting, and process optimization preferred; Python proficiency for financial analysis or automation preferred
• Demonstrated experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and functions; experience in change management including driving stakeholder alignment across functions preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level materials and facilitating decision-oriented meetings
• Advanced degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training; ability to operate effectively in high-ambiguity environments with competing priorities and tight timelines
