Our Texas Healthcare client is seeking an experienced Senior Inventory Specialist to support complex inventory operations and ensure the availability and accuracy of clinical supplies across multiple departments. This role will lead cycle count programs, optimize inventory levels, manage consignment and vendor-managed inventory, and serve as a subject matter expert for inventory processes. This Tyler TX onsite role has an initial duration of 18+ months.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex inventory programs, including consignment and vendor-managed inventory.
• Lead cycle counting initiatives and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Analyze usage trends and optimize par levels to improve inventory performance.
• Partner with OR, pharmacy, and nursing teams to support specialized inventory needs.
• Coordinate annual physical inventories and reconcile variances.
• Troubleshoot inventory system issues and support inventory reporting and accounting activities.
• Mentor Inventory Control Technicians and promote inventory best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of inventory management experience in healthcare or distribution environments.
• Strong knowledge of cycle counting, inventory optimization, par level management, and perpetual inventory systems.
• Experience with consignment inventory, implants, preference cards, and pharmacy inventory management.
• Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate variances and improve processes.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems, barcode scanning, automated replenishment, and reporting tools.
