Job Summary:
Consultant Advisor, EMR Tosha Smith is recruiting this position.
We are seeking an experienced Epic Campaign Informaticist to support an enterprise-wide patient engagement initiative. In this role, you will partner with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to design, build, implement, and optimize Epic Campaigns that improve patient outreach, increase engagement, and drive positive clinical outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong Epic expertise with an understanding of ambulatory workflows, population health, and healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, implement, and optimize Epic Campaigns to support patient engagement and population health initiatives.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical leadership, operations, and IT teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Epic Campaign solutions.
- Analyze clinical workflows and recommend best practices to improve patient outreach, care gap closure, and preventative care initiatives.
- Configure campaign logic, patient cohorts, communication strategies, and reporting within Epic.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to test, validate, and deploy campaign enhancements.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and recommend continuous improvements based on key performance metrics.
- Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and guidance for Epic Campaign functionality.
- Document workflows, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- 5+ years of Epic experience, preferably supporting Ambulatory, Population Health, or patient engagement initiatives.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and implementing Epic Campaigns.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient outreach strategies.
- Experience collaborating with physicians, nursing leadership, and operational stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Epic Campaigns certification preferred.
- Experience with Epic Healthy Planet, MyChart, or other patient engagement tools.
- Experience supporting enterprise healthcare organizations and large-scale Epic initiatives.
- Familiarity with reporting, analytics, and quality improvement initiatives related to patient engagement.
