Director of Recruiting

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking a Director of Recruiting to lead one of our recruiting divisions and help shape the next phase of our growth. This is a leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced staffing environment, enjoys building high-performing teams, and is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences for consultants and customers.

As Director of Recruiting, you will lead a team of recruiters while partnering closely with Sales, Engagement Management, Operations, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, and executive leadership. You'll be responsible for driving recruiter performance, operational excellence, consultant satisfaction, and revenue growth while ensuring recruiting resources remain aligned with business priorities.

This is not a desk leadership role. We're looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching recruiters, solving complex customer situations, recruiting strategically when needed, and continuously improving how recruiting is executed.

What You'll Do

·      Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters to consistently achieve production, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.

·      Partner with Sales leadership to prioritize recruiting efforts around strategic customers, project work, and revenue opportunities.

·      Drive accountability through KPIs, scorecards, coaching, and performance management.

·      Optimize recruiting workflows to improve speed, quality, consultant experience, and operational efficiency.

·      Partner cross-functionally with Engagement Management, Operations, Compliance, Finance, HR, and Marketing to deliver seamless execution throughout the consultant lifecycle.

·      Champion process discipline, data integrity, and consistent execution across the recruiting organization.

·      Leverage recruiting technology, AI, automation, and analytics to improve productivity and recruiter effectiveness.

·      Serve as an escalation point for recruiters, consultants, customers, and internal stakeholders while helping resolve complex situations professionally and efficiently.

·      Foster a culture built on accountability, urgency, collaboration, continuous improvement, and winning as a team.

What We're Looking For

·      7+ years of agency recruiting experience within Healthcare IT staffing, technology staffing, or a similar professional staffing environment.

·      Preferred leadership experience managing and developing high-performing recruiting teams.

·      A proven track record of partnering with Sales to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and successful delivery.

·      Strong business acumen with the ability to balance customer priorities, recruiter capacity, operational execution, and financial performance.

·      Experience leading through metrics, coaching, accountability, and performance management.

·      Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills.

·      Strong understanding of ATS/CRM platforms, recruiting technology, AI-enabled recruiting tools, workforce analytics, and data-driven decision making.

·      High attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence, process adherence, and execution quality.
