Our Healthcare client is looking to hire a Contractor for their Benefits Manager role. This is a 12- 18 month contract, helping them move from Infor/ Lawson to Workday System. This role is onsite in Nashville, TN, possible hybrid can be worked out.

Essential Functions

• Direct administration of health and welfare, retirement, life, disability, FSA/HSA, COBRA, and leave-related benefits programs serving 25,000+ employees.
• Lead annual open enrollment across 30 hospitals and 280+ sites.
• Manage carrier and vendor relationships.
• Ensure ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and regulatory compliance.
• Administer benefits for union populations.
• Lead and develop benefits team members.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years progressive benefits experience.
• 3+ years managing healthcare benefits programs supporting 5,000+ employees.
• Deep knowledge of retirement and health and welfare plans.
• Union benefits administration experience.
• Strong vendor management and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CEBS, SHRM-SCP, SPHR or related certification.
• Workday Benefits experience.
