Job Summary:
Senior Consultant Advisor, EMR Christine Woods is recruiting this position.
Our West Coast client has an immediate need for an Epic Resolute HB financial testing analyst to validate the financial accuracy and integrity of Hospital Billing (HB) data conversions and transaction processing during parallel testing activities. This is remote with an initial duration of 13 months. No vendors please.
In this role you will:
- Partner with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Accounting, Digital, and project teams to reconcile control totals, investigate variances, and ensure production-to-test environment consistency before go-live.
- Perform account-level and aggregate financial reconciliations across charges, payments, adjustments, account receivable balances, facility reporting, payor reporting, provider reporting, and UB Revenue classifications.
Requirements:
- Current Epic Resolute HB Certification
- Strong working knowledge of HAR structure and account management, transaction posting workflows, payment and adjustment processing, Epic reporting and reconciliation processes, and patient accounting functions
- Experience with UBREV and hospital revenue reporting.
- Knowledge of provider, payor, and facility reporting structures.
