Job Summary:
Senior Consultant Advisor, EMR Christine Woods is recruiting this position.
Our Los Angeles client has an immediate need for a contract-to-hire Director of Billing and Revenue Cycle. This role manages a small, high-impact team responsible for coding, billing, denial management, payment posting, and patient/customer service. Candidates must live in the Los Angeles area and be able to be onsite Monday - Friday. W2 only, no vendors.
Requirements:
- Expertise in Epic Revenue Cycle applications, strong knowledge of California-specific payer requirements (including Medi-Cal), and a passion for building, mentoring, and growing a high-performing team.
- Extensive revenue cycle experience in an outpatient setting; this is a clinic/ambulatory/outpatient surgery facility.
- Prior experience optimizing Epic workflows to improve clean claim rates, reduce denials, and accelerate cash collections.
