Job Summary:
Senior Consultant Advisor, ERP Alma Arteaga is recruiting this position.
Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner with 5+ years of progressive HR experience to provide strategic and hands-on HR support across employee relations, staffing, workforce management, and performance management. This role partners closely with leaders and employees to provide guidance, resolve workplace issues, and support organizational and workforce objectives.
Location: Local to Overland Park, MO
Hybrid Schedule: 2-3 days in office
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, policies, performance, and workplace issues.
- Manage end-to-end employee relations, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective action, performance concerns, and policy interpretation.
- Partner with leadership on staffing, workforce planning, and workforce management initiatives.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee performance, development, attendance, and disciplinary matters.
- Lead and support annual performance review cycles, including goal setting, evaluations, calibration, and follow-up.
- Partner with managers to identify performance gaps and develop appropriate improvement and development plans.
- Support talent acquisition, onboarding, internal mobility, retention, and workforce planning activities.
- Analyze workforce trends and provide recommendations to leadership regarding staffing levels, employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
- Ensure HR practices are consistent with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and shared-service teams as needed.
- Support organizational change initiatives and other HR programs as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR Business Partner or HR generalist experience.
- Strong, end-to-end experience managing employee relations matters.
- Experience with staffing, workforce management, and workforce planning.
- Proven ability to provide effective HR guidance and coaching to managers and employees.
- Hands-on experience with performance management and annual/yearly review cycles.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting an HR Service Center, Shared Services organization, or Managed Service Center (MSC).
- Experience working in a healthcare, large enterprise, or highly matrixed organization.
- HRIS experience and familiarity with HR case management/service delivery environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
