Job Summary:
Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking a MEDITECH Project Manager for a 6-month Staff Augmentation opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage MEDITECH implementation, upgrade, or optimization projects from initiation through go-live
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource schedules
- Coordinate with clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders to define project scope and requirements
- Track project milestones, risks, and issues, escalating and resolving as needed
- Facilitate regular status meetings and provide clear, concise updates to leadership and project sponsors
- Manage project budget, scope changes, and vendor coordination as applicable
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational goals
- Support change management and end-user readiness activities related to MEDITECH initiatives
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing MEDITECH implementation, upgrade, or support projects
- Strong understanding of MEDITECH modules and healthcare IT project workflows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
