Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking a Workday Benefits and PTO Consultant with some UKG expertise to support a healthcare facility already live on Workday.

• ~20 hours per week
• Contract until end of year with potential to extend.
• 100% Remote

Responsibilities:

• Independently resolve outstanding PTO and leave issues, including accrual errors for non-exempt employees
• Analyze Leave/PTO functionality that spans Workday and UKG, and resolve overlap and data discrepancies between the two systems
• Collaborate with UKG technical resources and client stakeholders to troubleshoot and remediate UKG items
• Clean up benefits integrations following the onboarding of multiple new benefits vendors
• Troubleshoot and resolve file-feed issues with life and disability carriers, including Evidence of Insurability (EOI) files
• Support retirement and payroll remediation resulting from SECURE Act changes, including catch-up contribution provisions
• Coordinate with the outsourced payroll provider to resolve integration and process issues
• Work effectively within a lean internal team, communicating status, risks, and resolutions clearly

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Workday Benefits and Absence/Time Off in a post-implementation or production support setting
• Working knowledge of UKG and PTO/leave functionality, sufficient to partner with technical UKG configurators
• Experience troubleshooting benefits vendor integrations and file feeds
• Understanding of PTO accrual logic, including differences between exempt and non-exempt employees
• Familiarity with retirement plan administration and SECURE Act contribution rules
• Payroll knowledge highly preferred, including experience with outsourced payroll integrations
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities with minimal oversight
