Healthcare IT Leaders is looking for an experienced Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking SME to join our Continuous Service Team and provide AMS support to our clients.

This role is part-time, contract work. 100% Remote.

Must be Workday Partner Certified to be considered.

This role will engage in ongoing support, maintenance, system configuration and optimization efforts across Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking functionality. The ideal candidate has experience in Workday AMS support, ideally from the partner side. This role will operate independently, perform hands-on configuration, educate and guide clients on best practices, and support new feature and impact analysis during Workday release cycles. 

Key responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

Payroll:

• Troubleshoot, design, and configure earnings, deductions, tax setups, retro pay and costing allocations
• Support payroll processing and compliance with federal, state, and local laws
• Troubleshoot payroll calculation issues and integration errors
• Create custom reports as needed

Absence:

• Troubleshoot, design and configure time off plans, accruals, carryover rules, eligibility
• Ensure connections between absence and payroll modules for accurate payouts
• Troubleshoot any issues related to absence functionality
• Create custom reports as needed

Additional:

• Support testing of any configuration related to updates/changes
• Analyze and resolve defects and data inconsistencies between modules in alignment with our SLA/SLO targets.
• Guide and mentor junior PATT analysts
• Lead AMS delivery for the Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking functional area across multiple clients
• Manage support for functional areas, ensuring timely triage and resolution of issues and enhancements.
• Serve as SME for Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules
• Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
• Act as primary point of contact for healthcare clients on PATT related issues and enhancements.
• Perform advanced configuration to support complex healthcare workforce structures.
• Collaborate with Account Lead/Engagement Lead and cross-functional leads (HCM, Supply Chain, Payroll, Integrations, etc) to ensure end-to-end process alignment across the client ecosystem

 Additional:

• Workday Services Certifications across one or more modules (Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking)
• Certs specific to this space:
  • Workday Pro US Payroll Services Certification (+ Data Loading/Conversion)
  • Workday Pro Absence Services Certification (+ data loading/conversion)
  • Workday Pro Time Tracking Services Certification (+ data loading/conversion)
• Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
